    Default 2am Pictars

Took a few shots after work on Friday night (Saturday morning). They were taken at the city hall parking lot, which is well, empty by the time I finish my shift.

Detailing was done a few days prior by the guys over at Luxe Auto Lounge (Sorry GTPaul, needed this done before May!).

    Enjoy!

For some reason it was really hard for the shots not to come out blurry, as you can see from the full front end shot. I was using a tripod and the aperture/speed wasn't that extreme. First time that's ever happened on my D90. Ah well. That's how the car will look this year. Looking forward to getting a few people together for more photo stuffs!

next week. gonna have all four doors open from the top and fold down so you can walk on the glass when you get in. I'll also have fish tanks (5 of them) in the engine bay to adequately lubricate the turbo flanges and the turbo pulleys. it's gon be sick guy.

Do you have image stabilization on your lens? If so, was it turned off?

you need a remote shutter if you want it to be 100% crisp. When you press the button, you move the camera; just the way she goes.

Or just use the timer. I use the 2 second timer on mine.

I do have stabilization on the lens. When pressing the shutter button is when the camera would move.. I've just never had an issue like that before. Mind you, I never really did night/dark shooting with this cam before. Setting a 1-2 second timer is a good idea, I'll do that from now on. Thanks!

Yeah, make sure Image stabilization is off as well as using the timer.

If the camera is perfectly still on a tripod, then IS will make the photo blurry.

every night shot i take will always be used with tripod and remote shutter due to camera shake, the smallest movement can and will cause this

nope. might put some gauges in, but that's about it. Getting it tuned for more top end power soon when I have time to roll the rear fenders.
